Released in theatres on 7th July 2023, Name Me Lawand was awarded the 2023 Special Jury Prize for Best International Feature at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, and has nominated for the One World Media Refugee Reporting Award and a Grierson Award for Best Single Documentary - Domestic.
