Tom's collaborative relationship with Czech producer Tomas Dvorak, a.k.a Floex began with a chance meeting in Berlin. After a series of initial experiments in making music together, in 2016 Tom completed a remix for Floex's Samorost 3 Pre-remixes EP, which can be downloaded for free here.
Over the last three years, Tom and Floex have been working on A Portrait of John Doe, an album collaboration created with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. The first single 'Wednesday (Is The New Friday) was released on April 20th alongside a spacious, atmospheric remix by Hidden Orchestra which was premiered on Clash. The second single 'John Doe Arise', featuring vocals from Second Moon Of Winter's Kim Sheehan, was released on May 18th. This time, remix duties were taken on by Tom's long-time collaborator Max Cooper which premiered on Decoded Magazine. 'Prelude I', the third single, was released on June 15th alongside a dance floor-ready by Deltawork. A Portrait of John Doe was released on the 29th June.
Following a recent tour of the Czech Republic and Russia, Tom and Floex have released ‘John Doe Arise (Live In Prague)’, featuring four tracks from A Portrait of John Doe recorded live with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and singer Kim Sheehan. The EP is available to download and stream everywhere through Mercury KX.
