Biography

Tom Hodge was born in London in 1975. His compositional style draws on elements of classical minimalism, groove-based jazz and electronica.
He has been scoring music-to-picture now for ten years, and has written music for approximately two hundred commercials, films, television & theatre pieces including the BAFTA-nominated (2006) short animation “Kamiya’s Correspondence” directed by Sumito Sakakibara.
Tom has a Masters in Composition for the Screen from the Royal College of Music, and a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Production from Alchemea College in London. He also has a degree in Social & Political Science from St John's College, Cambridge.
Recent credits include the classical remix of Daft Punk's Aerodynamic on Ministry of Sound's compilation 'Uncovered,' additional music for Vito Rocco's romantic-comedy feature 'Faintheart' (Vertigo Films) and adverts for the Independet, Boots, Ikea, Pantene, Twinings & Max Factor..
Tom has just finished the score to his second feature film, Robert Cavanah's Pimp (Triple S productions) and his debut classical EP Super Collider.
